We'll be thinking of you. My wife just had one pulled last week. Hardest part was avoiding a lot of more solid foods. But I was impressed with how well she's done. Today she starts back to her job at the school and I think she's ready. Only has about seven weeks to the summer break.

Ug. Having teeth out is no fun, for sure.

I had a bone graft too. Took 30 minutes. I was back at work in an hour. Glad Mrs DB is doing well. I've got lots of stitches so that is impacting eating solids too.

Sounds like good news for you. Mrs. DB was doing real well but last night we went to a dinner and she was concerned because she was getting some pain around where the tooth was extracted. I think she's going to call our dentist tomorrow and see if he could take a look and verify that all's okay or whether she needs some help. We've had the dentist for many years now and so there's no lack of confidence in him. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers if you would.

Yeah, but I'll leave it to PF to comment on the types of liquids you're able to deal with.
Hope things came out OK otherwise, for both women involved in the 2018 Tooth Adventures.

Actually went to our local "Prompt Care" yesterday because the pain was even worse. Gave her an antibiotic to take to eliminate any infection and she'll call our dentist today to see if he wants to check her. Seemed to be doing a bit better last night. Hope this gets cleared up soon or that somehow I could take the pain and leave her pain free.

Dentist saw my wife. Ends up the tooth above the one that was removed while having no cavities had roots that were dying. She had that tooth removed Tuesday and was given a new, stronger prescription. So far, at least, it seems to be helping and it looks like the swelling is down, Keep up the good wishes ... we want to be done with this little problem.

ah Ha! So very much a problem when one problem masks another.
Hope this is the end of it, though.

Thanks for the good wishes. She's still been doing the Before and After Care at the school (I help some in the afternoons). She's gutsy and puts up with the pain and discomfort and won't let it get her down. She amazes me with her faith, strength and caring for people. No wonder I fell for her.

We (wife and I) went to see "I Can Only Imagine" yesterday at the theatre. True story of Bart Mallard of the group Mercy Me. Bart had a very abusive father (Dennis Quaid). His mom left the father and and he (Bart) soon followed joining with a group called Mercy Me (Christian music). His father reformed and earned his son's forgiveness before his death and his son wrote the song called "I Can Only Imagine" in memory of his dad. It's a beautiful song that was given the honor of being Oklahoma's Most Inspirational Song. Movie was a Christian movie and very well done. It's been in area theatres now for four weeks out drawing main line movies We both loved the song and the movie.
