How many times...

No, this isn't a new masturbation thread for June... I'm tired of keeping track.

Each Star Wars installment has been known for repeated viewings as was Titanic. Rocky Horror has had some people back to see it 1000 times.

What movies have you gone back for seconds (or thirds and fourths) and how many times did you go back? (Just counting theater... not watching over and over on home video)

When I was 13 my cousin and I went to see Grease and just never left the theater. We saw it three times that day by sneaking back in.

Has to be an exceptional movie to get me out of the house & go to the theater in any case, & I generally don't care to see anything again until it's had some time to fade from my photographic memory...the only movie I ever cared to see again was the updated version of Star Wars (episode 4), with the new CGI scenes, & I guess there was a good twenty years since I had seen the original in the theater...does that count?

I saw Batman 3 times. Then after it came out on video, my younger brother and i would watch it every day after school for a month or more. I can still recite most of the movie

"Jack? Jack is dead my friend. You may call me the Joker!"

The Sixth Sense and EverAfter. I loved those movies and paid full price on three separate occasions to see them!

I always thought that title sounded like a Disney movie about a heroic animal or something... but it is a damn good movie, IMO.

I knew there was something I liked about you BIBI!!

I think I saw Blue Hawaii in the theater at least 5 or 6 times. Mind you, admission prices in 1962 were considerably less than they are now. I think it was about $1.50 at the first run theaters, and $1 or less at the ones that ran it when it had finished at the first run theaters.

I saw all the first 3 STAR WARS movies twice in the theater. Once when they first came out and then again when they were released to the theaters again a few years later.......we took the kids then and they were totall awestruck. Our oldest two were only 3 and 1 when they first came out.

And I saw Titanic at the theater 3 times. Not because of Leonardo, but because it was just such a wonderful love story, and for all the exacting details that James Cameron was sure to include.
