Best
I have some company coming at the end of the summer and want to buy a perfect bottle of wine to have with a nice relaxing dinner. Any suggestions?

Are you going to match the dinner to the wine, or the other way round?
Menu please.

I don't know much about what foods it goes with, but I really enjoy Willamette Valley Vineyards' Edelweiss.

With a name like that, it sounds like a reisling or a moselle. Both Yummy in the right place.

If you want a dessert wine, try either Zinfandel Port (Moon Mountain makes a good one) or an Ice Wine. Ice wines are divine!
Dry and full bodied....Frog's Leap or Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. Or my recent fave...a full-bodied red called "Cloud 9" (high alcohol content)
Lighter reds....Try a Barbera (Italian varietal). I personally like Montevina. The 1998 is good if you can still find it. Havens Red Table wine is also good...1996 was amazing, and I hear the 2000 is also good.
Dry Whites....Try Matanzas Creek Chardonnay if you can find it. The 2005 is very good, and much more floral/less oak-y than earlier vintages.
Hope these help!

If not...I might be able to send you a bottle if you like. As long as FL laws won't land me in jail...
PM me if you'd like me to....

Wine with dinner means company is coming
Suggestion; Find out if you quest like red or white wine and what type of food they like. If you invited them, it's about them not you.
Or just get them drunk and have your way with them.
