Twelfth Battle Of Isonzo, aka, the
Battle of Caporetto: Italians fall back towards the River Tagliamento. Italian Navy complete Grado’s evacuation (southwest of river mouth). German 26th Division reaches Tagliamento taking Dignano and 20,000 PoWs.
