If you want a dessert wine, try either Zinfandel Port (Moon Mountain makes a good one) or an Ice Wine. Ice wines are divine!

Dry and full bodied....Frog's Leap or Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. Or my recent fave...a full-bodied red called "Cloud 9" (high alcohol content)

Lighter reds....Try a Barbera (Italian varietal). I personally like Montevina. The 1998 is good if you can still find it. Havens Red Table wine is also good...1996 was amazing, and I hear the 2000 is also good.

Dry Whites....Try Matanzas Creek Chardonnay if you can find it. The 2005 is very good, and much more floral/less oak-y than earlier vintages.
