While I’m pretty far from a typical male, I can certainly explain why I like to look at women. Let me start by saying that most mainstream pornography doesn't do much for me anymore. I’m so tired of artificial-looking women who look like they’re clones of each other doing the same old thing over and over again. It’s been turned into a product, most women are in it for the money, and it’s aimed at the lowest common denominator. I think I outgrew mainstream porn at 17 or so. I own a few “classic” mainstream sex movies that are far above the rest, like “1001 Erotic Nights,” but I almost never buy porn anymore.

On the other hand, I really enjoy amateur porn, especially self-pics taken by women. This is how I found and joined Pixie’s over 3 years ago. It’s a turn-on when a woman writes candidly about her real sexual experiences, though. And flirting is great, but only if it leads somewhere… there has to be a possibility of sex involved. Flirting for its own sake seems somewhat pointless.


Please forgive many of us men for only posting pictures of our cocks. It’s just that the single biggest turn-on for most men is seeing female genetalia, and we assume it works the same way for women as well. It’s merely a case of tragic misunderstanding For us to improve, though, we need constructive comments, something that’s too often lacking in the “Pictures of Men” section.


I agree that getting to know someone adds to the turn-on of seeing them naked. I often wish that porn movies had more of a plot that would allow the viewer to get to know and care about the characters before the sex starts. That said, there are certain types of women that turn me on instantly, even if I don’t know them at all. My pet theory (which might be pseudoscientific nonsense) is that my brain subconsciously recognizes that a woman is a good genetic match for me, which leads to an immediate sexual response.
