I'm watching Purple Rain

What movie will cause you to stop when flipping through the channels?

Aqua 12-10-2010 06:22 PM

Several will.

Princess Bride
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
The first half of Full Metal Jacket (boot camp)
Any of the Star Wars films
Purple Rain

There are others, but that's a good start. :p

Lilith 12-10-2010 06:27 PM

Princess Bride is my fave
Ferris Bueller was STO's fave

You have good taste.

and taste good too :p

Lord Snow 12-10-2010 11:10 PM

Depends on what I'm in the mood for. I've stopped for Princess Bride, but also passed it up just as quickly. Only one of the ones that was mentioned that I haven't seen is Purple Rain, but I've stopped for the others as well as Fight Club, Die Hard 1-4, Lethal Weapon 1-4..................

Booger 12-11-2010 02:22 AM

The Blues Brothers, I've watch the whole move maybe 10 or 20 times but have seen the end of it well over 100 times.

Aqua 12-11-2010 05:39 AM

Yup, Boog, that's another one.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hit it.

Last night it was Scrooge, the 70s musical starring Albert Finney. I must watch that one 3-5 times over the holidays.

Oh yes!

Breakfast Club is definite stop and watch.

shadowsfate 12-18-2010 08:57 PM

Down Periscope. For some reason, I always stop and watch the movie, no matter how far it is in to it when I see it is on. Even my son likes it :roflmao:

Lord Snow 12-18-2010 11:42 PM

I love that movie as well. "What's your name. Nitro. Cool nickname, what's your real name. Nitro.....I've been working on a nickname though. How's this....Mike?"
