What's your next meal?

Another stolen one . . .

A lot of Pixies talk food & I've had some inspiration from what other members have told me they're making for dinner . . .

What are you having for your next meal?

I'm craving BK so I'm off for a veggie burger.

dreamgurl 06-15-2004 12:27 PM

I'm having tuna salad on toast and a garden salad on the side, yummers

Sharni 06-15-2004 01:24 PM

Buttered toast :D

IAKaraokeGirl 06-15-2004 01:35 PM

Would it be too bad to say, "Whatever I feel like fixing after 245089240670 hours of t-ball practice tonight?" :)

WildIrish 06-15-2004 02:06 PM

I'm pretty sure it'll be cereal tonight. I'm getting home late again, and she's not exactly the kind of person to fix a plate. ha ha

naughtyangel 06-15-2004 02:24 PM

I just had a bowl of cereal for my breakfast, getting ready to cook supper for hubby (which will also be my lunch for work tonight). Grilled chicken breasts, green beans for me/ broccoli for him & munchkin, brown rice for me/ sidekick pasta for him & munchkin. Yum!

rockintime 06-15-2004 05:25 PM

Pasta

flutelady 06-15-2004 09:14 PM

I just put a homemade macaroni and cheese into the oven.... with Monterey Jack and Parmagiana Reggiano (I'm sure I butchered the spelling on that) rather than the usual cheddar.

Yes, I prepared it. I am a "nuker" at heart, but I'm capable of more when necessary.

Steph 06-15-2004 11:34 PM

^^^ Yum ^^^

I don't know what I'm having yet but it'll be something boring like toast. Looking forward to heading down to maybe Little India this weekend for some spices and will probably make curry or something fun.

PantyFanatic 06-16-2004 12:18 AM

I'll make a note to read the wrapper. It'll be a McSomething ............ just like the last McSomething.

(I only know the paper is a different color at different times of the day. )

Steph 06-16-2004 12:55 AM

Just had some PB on rye. I really need to get groceries.

Actually I do. ;) The above reason is precisely why fast food is my last resort when pressed for time.:(

Anybody remember the old commercial, “… if it’s round it’s a burger, if it’s square it’s fish.”? Too true! :) lol

Steph 06-16-2004 07:58 AM

Nope, you're the only one who remembers. :D

coffee - is that a meal?

maybe I'll have a grapefruit after reading Lilith's meal. :D

PantyFanatic 06-16-2004 08:07 AM

Coffee better be a meal! :D

Steph 06-17-2004 08:16 AM

spanakopita (spinach and feta in phyllo yum!)

LarryL 06-17-2004 09:39 AM

A favorite quick breakfast: Slim-Fast French Vanilla, blended with with skim milk, egg beaters equivalent to one egg, and a banana. Drink after eating natural peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat toast. Follow up with way more coffee than is healthy.

I was tempted to write "Fur Burger," or "Hair Pie," but decided to be honest rather than silly. (Besides, I haven't had nor probably will have any of that for a long time.) :(

Pita 06-17-2004 05:47 PM

Chicken strips with mashed potatoes, country gravy and corn.

All from a box, can or bag. I am one hell of a ten minute cook.

imaginewithme 06-17-2004 10:45 PM

Hopefully my man is the next thing I'll be eating.
