The good news is there's Super Glue, but, it doesn't replace gum for chewing.
I think the bad news is, some people might miss that caveat.
The good news is that could also be the good news. (Ah, the peace and quiet :) )
The bad news, the ERs are already full of people who have made bad life choices.
The good news is that ER's do help provide emergency treatments when other avenues aren't available.
The bad news is, ERs are too frequently the only avenue of treatment available.
The good news is the increasing available of Prompt Care facilities (at least in our area).
The bad news is, we're pretty much running out of health care *and* teaching professionals.
The good news is that we're holding our own for now although some doctors have moved out-of-state for personal or professional reasons.
The bad news is, "holding our own" is not the same as improvement.
The good news is you can't get to good from bad without the first step of "holding our own".
The bad news is that costs for available treatments is always going up as well as the cost of the insurances needed to pay them (even Medicare).
The good news is, a single-payer system would increase healthcare availability and lowers costs.
The bad news is you are right this time GG. But that has a name that causes BIG BUSINESS to froth at the mouth and spew synonyms unpalatable to Americans even though 'socialized' is the way it works but can be clerically administered in a much more profitable manner.
The good news is medical knowledge, technology, and facilities have advanced to such deep degrees that branches of most every study has become it's own specialty. What was 'My Doctor' that made house calls and treated every ailment is kind-a gone. Now 'My Doctor' is our General Practitioner or Primary Care Provider who becomes the report center for the specialist he has referred us too for deeper insight. Now that I've given both the good news and bad news, you can pick whatever you want next. |
The bad news is that we're expecting another fairly heavy snow (5-7in) after we just got rid of the last one. :(
